Hello; I really like Metro Transmission very much. Eric said it would be $700 to replace the motor mounts on my 2012 Ford Focus. I compared this to other reputable shops and the high end price was $520. Why such a difference?

Don't know...you'd have to see the respective quotes and do a comparison between cost of parts and cost of labor...assuming their diagnosis of the problem is the same.... Need to ask if parts come from same source and maker? I have a good deal of work down on my truck there recently...some of it was corrective because of a mess up by another mechanic...and some of it was challenging repair, but Eric made things right....just like new. I.have several other friends who have had work done by Metro ...and havebeen very pleased with their repairs and service...but I would ask for a written detailed quotes from the respective shops between the two shops as I suggested to see if you are comparing apples to apples if you haven't received that. And is the work equally guaranteed by each shop?

I have to agree with Ted. I've gone to Metro for years and trust their integrity. You could ask Eric yourself and he'd be happy to explain to you the difference. They are good honest people.

That's right the work of Erick is guaranteed. For me is 100 "/".

Hi Patricia...I don't see an estimate for mounts in our system so let me get back to you on the exact price. As far as why Eric might have quoted you an estimate that was higher than other shops is we use dealer mounts in most cases. Yes we could install cheaper mounts but typically they don't last as long and sometimes they don't always cure vibrations.
