Do you have to reserve the pavilions or can you just go to the park and set up if one is open?

If they are open, you can utilize, but if someone with a reservation shows up, you will have to vacate. You can tell if they are reserved by a paper they post on one of the columns of the pavilion in a small permanent frame. It has the reservation info. - if you want to reserve one, it costs approx. $50 and you reserve at the ranger HQ building just south of Spanish River Blvd. on A1A. Just north of the north park entrance. Good luck!

I would call & ask, I believe it depends on the season, I was there last week with no groups at any of the pavilions, but that will change as the weather improves !

Usually depends if there's an open Pavilion first come, first server. although certainly there must be some kind of option to reserve during busier seasons.

Pavilions have to be reserved. They are not expensive.

They have to be reserved

From my understanding, it's first come first serve. During off seasons, you don't really need to worry about getting there early. During the seasons, you usually want to get there early to reserve the spot you want
