My 9 month old baby and I will be coming to Miami from Arkansas. What transportation should we use after arriving at the airport and where should we go first to seek immediate shelter.

I had to contact the Miami homeless hotline first to register but was unable bc you have to be physically in Miami to do so and was told there is a long waiting list that people are on for months. The only way a person from out of state will be able to get help is to move to Miami and have a place to stay while waiting to be accepted.
