The problem with alpha gal is that any contact with mammalian meat proteins can set it off. I'd stress that nothing from "the grill" or any other place that mammalian meat has touched to be prepared can touch his food. It has nothing to do with hooved or not hooved animals. It's a mammalian protein.
First off, alert the staff of his allergy. Secondly, I imagine any of their chicken or fish dishes would fit this request. Thirdly, let people know what alpha-gal is, as not everyone knows. From Mayoclinic.com : Alpha-gal syndrome is a recently identified type of food allergy to red meat. In the United States, the condition most often begins when a Lone Star tick bite transmits a sugar molecule called alpha-gal into the body. In some people, this triggers an immune system reaction that later produces mild to severe allergic reactions when they eat red meat.
Any non-holved animal meat. So any seafood or chicken
