That is a preferance question with no wrong answer. Ovation primarily makes acoustic guitars with a rounded back. If you have any kind of a gutt, this may be an issue. Gibson makes some of the finest sounding guitars in the world and has been doing so for a very long time. Both companies make fine instruments, it's all about what suits YOU. Try out as many as you can BEFORE you purchase.
