So before you bring anything to GC or any music store- go on Ebay and find out what your item is worth. DO NOT trust anyone to be honest about your item. This includes older or " vintage" gear especially. GC will usually give bottom dollar for your gear, but it's always better than a pawn shop.
Ask them. Or sell your instruments in Ebay or recycle.com. Good luck.
They do buy used equipment...pretty fair..but usually $25 on every $100....so if you have gear worth $500, they'll offer you about $150 for it. I call it fair because others will Skip to only offer $100.
