Had an LA fitness membership with multiple referrals for over 6 years. Recently moved and was able to access the three LA fitness gyms in the valley including this one. This club and the other two surrounding are very much boys clubs. This the staff at this club is incredibly lazy and will make you wait a long time to check in. It took a long time to decide to cancel, but after several unpleasant encounters here, I finally did. When you do decide to cancel, the process is incredibly difficult. They try to force you to cancel in the club in person. I was very sick and advised I was not able to go into the club. They had me cancel via an email address that I did not receive a response from for two days. In the meantime, the membership fee was charged. I emailed to have this reversed. They assured me it was. When I told then it wasn't, they told me to contact the club. I called, was immediately placed on hold. I was finally able to express my concern. She asked if I could come into the club. I advised her it is not necessary to come in to amend their mistake. I am now awaiting a call from a manager. I can go into detail about previous customer service mishaps throughout my membership with these three clubs but will leave this as it is. Please do better LA fitness. I have switched gyms for the 5 memberships I had referred along the way and will never recommend LA fitness to anyone

Where to start... the staff at this gym are a cut above. I've had an ongoing issue with my LA fitness trainijg membership. I switched to this gym which is a little further away and I AM SO THANKFUL! Shout out to JASON E who despite the obstacles, he said I gonna do what you're here for .. he trained me and said we will figure it out later. And he was right! His motivation and encouragement allowed me to dive back into a problem I had been struggling with for over 10 months. LA Fitness fixed the problem and now I can train with Jason! He was so respectful of my limits while knowing just how to motivate me to push harder. I am so excited again about my training journey and grateful I found this location and Jason!!

From the very beginning, the entire staff has been super friendly and helpful. I love how big this facility is and there is plenty of equipment so I don’t see anyone waiting for a machine or dumbbells. I had a training assessment with Rolando and I truly had an amazing time! He taught me about the different exercises that will help me and my current body type achieve my future goals. He was patient, diligently observed and corrected my form, encouraged me and just made the whole experience hella FUN! Thank you Rolando and thank you Northridge LA for becoming my new home.

I wanted to make sure the management / owners know that Rolando who is charge of the weight training department is such a value to LA Fitness. He is patient, kind and a complete PRO in this facility. If anyone sees this he is someone who adds so much value to this gym and to us the customers.
