I am interested in playing the Banjo,as a beginner is there a good priced banjo to start with? I want to stay under $150.00 for now. I see brands like R.W.Jamison, Pyle, Schmidht,Wood in this price line can you recommend something? Thanks, Ken

No clue. I play bass, i wouldn't mind picking up a cheap banjo somewhere myself one day.

I highly recommend the R.W. Jamison for beginners, it's a good product, you'll like it and yes you can get one around $ 150.00 also look on the internet at Musicians friend, prices are always good and they sell awesome quality items!
