This was my first time going here. Mike was super helpful. Showed me around and explained what they had and how the pricing worked and he answered all my questions. This place is deff geared towards helping everyone and not just large customers. Most metal suppliers act like they dont want to talk to you if its not more than 1000 worth of metal. Will be returning.

I needed some metal for a project and, as I primarily work in wood, my prior experience with metal was limited to what big box stores have. I was shocked at how much further my dollar went here, along with the willingness to help me find whatever I needed, even though I was only buying a few dollars of product. I have been to Alro Metals several times for custom metal pieces for projects like garage door repair, dock reinforcement, and for stainless steel spacers for a microwave oven. Hi Montre, Thank you for your question. Alro is a distributor of metals and engineering plastics. We do not take in items for recycling.
They have remnants of various shapes and materials so depending on the lengths you need you may be able to save versus longer stock.
Alro Metals Outlet has remnants at good prices. Stock includes of all types of steel, red metals including copper and brass. Remnant shapes can include channel, round rod, angle. Our stores also do cut to size. If you'd like to call ahead they can let you know exactly what their current stock is.
