I don't know but I've just bought a lazy boy and the furniture company didn't mention anything about it to me.
It's my understanding that the fabric is covered for 1 year by La-Z-Boy from manufacturing defects. They will replace the affected piece (for ex, a part of sectional couch) if they can match the fabric. If they can't match it, they replace the entire product. If you purchased the extended fabric warranty, they will replace any piece that is covered under that warranty (same as aforementioned). I'm not sure that they will reupholster a piece of furniture that's not under warranty and defected. It is likely cheaper to buy new than to reupholster. You should call your local La-z-boy store for more information.
