Burdick really is the hidden gem in Walpole. Well worth the visit alone.

Ruggles and Hunt! It's a fun store. It's slightly hidden behind the gas station.

There is also a fun costume shop in Walpole, but nothing like a walkable shopping street. You might do better with a post-dessert jaunt down in Brattleboro or Keene.

Main street has a nice handful of fun shops but the highlight is Burdick's without question.
