Hello Margie! thank you so much for your inquiry. All of our rental sites are equipped with so many kayaks and so much equipment that we are able to accommodate most groups as walk up customers, on a first come, first serve basis anytime during our regular business hours. If you are coming on a weekend in the middle of the day, I would schedule a little bit of extra time in case there are some short lines for registration or for getting into equipment due to the volume of walk up customers we service everyday, but we have gotten very efficient over the years and are able service customers fairly quickly even on those busier days. Reservations are not needed to paddle.Nahanton park has plenty of boats and little or no waiting times. Bring an ID. For Groups of ten boats or more we do recommend reservations.
