We went thru 3 modems with them before we had a tech come out. He told us the modem was obsolete & gave us the new modem, which works great. Demanded a big credit for that! Have a tech come out & check your equipment first! Don't go by what the store or customer service.
I wouldn't think that you would. When you say slow, do you mean only Xfinity's Home Page and Streaming from it or your entire internet in general ? Also what Speed Tier do you pay for on your Comcast / Xfinity bill ? If you don't have Xfinity Blast Internet or above. You will have a somewhat slower connection.
