There are two dog parks one for small dogs (To the left as you walk up and a large dog park), both have receptacles, water, benches and a rain shelter. I have found that the small dogs will get acclimate to the big dogs through the fence and will want to come over to play.
Like they are saying there are two sides. When I was there it was empty. Comparing it to the dog park I go to in Weymouth at the old military air field Abington dog park is so much bigger and so much better. Even if there are allot of dogs there should be plenty of room for your little one to run around and feel safe. In my opinion of course. Good luck. I hope you have a great experience like we did. I’ve been to places where I’ve been scared my dog would get hurt but definitely not this place.
Both large and small dogs visit the park, using the two separate sides. How busy it is varies by day and time
