My daughter and I are travelling to Geneva, Switzerland on April 12, 2019. Her passport expires on August 4, 2019. I will be travelling with her and my passport expires in 10/ 2023. Does she need a new passport?

Currently no because it's still in the valid time before it expires if you want you can try to apply her for a new passport but they might also tell you to do it around closer to the time it does expire because there's still 5 months left and this office I'd sn express location if you need one quickly so they might also tell you to just do it at your local post office since you still have 5 valid months.
