My mom is 79- she received paperwork that she has to take a written test, a road test, and a vision test. Is that unusual- ? Or is that standard?

I believe they changed rules again eye exam is for everyone to make sure they can still pass there eye vision but as far as written test again not so sure unless it's a new precaution to make sure still understands rules of the road hope this helps
