No glass. It's in the rules
Glass is not allowed as outlined in the Canoe Outpost rules, the river is shallow and rocky and people are walking around barefoot looking for fossils. Glass bottles break and end up in the river then people cut themselves while digging around. I personally cut my hand on a broken beer bottle while digging and it wasn't fun because it's a 4 to 8 hour paddle down river before you can get to first aid.
Take cans or plastic. Noone will stop you from taking glass but just remember to pick up after yourself.
