I have a Florida ID that is expired. To get a new ID, do I just come to the DMV with the expired ID and have a new photo taken?

Yes you can just walk in with the old id and get a new one

You can renew a Florida ID online one time. After the one time online renewal you have to go to the DMV in person to renew.
