A very small amount of time is devoted to the history of the theater in a trivia question form.
They do show trailers, announcements, etc.
They show trailers like other theaters. Also adds for films they'll be showing.
All of these other folks did a great job answering your question, Jennifer! And they're all right: we do a slide show with Theatre trivia, history and upcoming events that starts when doors open (usually an hour before show time for classics and a half-hour before for first-run films.) For select shows, we have a volunteer organist who plays our original Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ for 15 minutes before the published show time as well. Then, at show time, we have a brief trailer package (10 minutes or less) that highlights some of our upcoming films and events, and then it's on with the show!
They do have trailers, but not as long as normal theaters. Lines get long for concessions and that can take a bit of time also
Like most theaters they show some upcoming attractions and events. There's also an interesting trivia quiz about the theater that plays while you're waiting for the published movie time.
