Angus is the breed of the cattle, so to be called Angus, all the meat has to be is from that breed. To get the Certified Angus Beef Brand, the meat needs to be either choice or prime quality from the Angus breed. Saltgrass's beef is Certified Angus Beef, which means that it's either of choice or prime quality.

Certified Angus beef brand is the best quality of meat that comes from cows. It is of the top 8% of the farmers meats. It has meet 10 different quality standards to be part of the brand, from marbling to tenderness. USDA choice is not part of this brand, as it does not meet these 10 standards. The certified Angus beef brand is the best. USDA choice or premium choice is not as great, these are the meats that you will find prepackaged in a walmart or bakers, ect.

Gueorgui summed it up,,it was good, I had the 17 Oz Texas T-Bone. Although I want a steak without bone. I think the 17 Oz was most of the bone LOL
