Don't know for sure, but they have a 'barn cat' program that offers for a very modest fee, feral cats that are fixed to people that can offer them a dry place to stay. They may be able to help.
Do you "live trap" cats who are collared & have identification tags and who live with their owners in mobile home parks, but who escape from their home once in awhile? I am concerned about a friend's cats as she lives in a mobile home park and her cats are very good at escaping from her mobile home somewhat regularly (2-3 times a week). As I understand it the rules are strict in mobile home parks and other county parks about not letting pets off-leash, but is this considered roaming and reason enough to trap them? Please tell me what would happen to her cats if they were trapped as the mobile home park management has been threatening to do. My understanding is that the cats get out accidentally and always return home within an hour or two each time. They are just good at getting outside thru doors left ajar, etc. Thanks for your help. A concerned animal lover.
Hi Renee - You can bring the cat to us and we will vaccinate and neuter for free as long as you are willing to return the cat to your neighborhood. If you are interested in that, give us a call at 530-886-5512 and we will set this up. Thanks!
