Old town was fun to walk around and see. My room at powers mansion was a 12 min walk there and 12 min back. They had a restraunt brewery in old town called the Auburn ale house I think. I wanted to go there and drink and eat but they had no taxi or uber to give me a ride. I knew I would be to hammered to stumble back on a 12 min walk..so I didn't get to go.. I went 186ft from my room to the beer garden and stumbled back from there..

Old Town Auburn is good place to stop while traveling between Reno and Bay Area. There lots of small shops, also restaurants and public restroom (near Old Firehouse). You can park for 3 hours at Courthouse parking. Although it was not easy to walk with a stroller because of the stairs on Sacramento street.

Old Town Auburn . Gorgeous . Lots of cute little shops.Although it's hard to find good close parking on weekends or events , parking up two blocks or so isn't that bad if you don't mind walking like me 🏃‍♀️

Love Old Town Auburn. Only problem is parking. Even with the upper parking lots, we get a lot of Highway 80 traffic plus local people hang in this part of town.i be would go to uppertown and hang. there are more restaurants and walking distance to all of them.elm exit head east. Google Club car a favorite of locals. Full bar.
