I have memberships over a year now I upgraded them last year and I am trying to find out if they are still upgraded this year with waterworld or if I have to upgrade again this year

I inquired with Six flags help desk about my upgrade as well and they emailed me saying they remain upgrded and we have access to both six flags and hurricane harbor plus free parking, there is no need to upgrade and/or cancel and purchase new memberships. Hope that helps. Enjoy the parks
