The fall/winter season is coming and they aren't open longer, because of the school year.
To get park guests and cleanup employees out by nightfall. It's not lit up at nightfall . Nighttime waterparking may sound delightful, 🦋 hot evenings are a rarety in June and July, and the slightest wind can cause chills when wet. Summer is fickle. Sure we all remember the heat waves but casually forget the chilly nights that really are the norm. To post a weather forecast as your official schedule isn't practical, when often families use the park as a cheap babysitter. Also if you already had guest's entry fee, you'd want to close as early as possible too, saving employee costs. By

They close early because it's the end of the season. I think they close later during summer hours. I was there for Labor day and they closed at 5 pm.
