I am flying round trip from Sacramento to LAX on the same day. Can I pick up up both boarding passes for both flights at the same time at the Sacramento Airport or do I have to obtain my bording pass for my return flight at LAX?

Usually, even online before you get to the airport. Or worst case, get your return boarding pass as soon as you arrive at LAX.

You would have to pick your boarding pass at LAX. However, you can check in using kiosks. Or download the airline app you are flying with on your smartphone and get boarding pass and check in through the app
