The FDA indicates it's ok to donate twice within a seven day period but not consecutive after the first donation. The US has the least restrictive policies compared to other western countries, though. The American Red Cross limits plasma donations to 13 times per year or every 28 days. If you do donate, be sure to keep hydrated before and after donation and eat foods that will provide the nutrients and minerals lost due to donating plasma. Because sodium citrate (an anti-coagulant) is injected into the blood during the plasmapherisis procedure, I take calcium and magnesium supplements during the week to compensate for the loss.
It's not only for your health but it's also federal law you can only go twice within the 7 day. But you need to also just replace the proteins in and fluid to come out of your body I've been doing it now for over a year
Not as long as u going no more than 2x times a week
