How old do you have to be to handle a gun and participate

To hunt you need to take a hunter safety course and a current hunting license. You can sign up for a hunter safety class and purchase the appropriate license at Birds Landing. The club can also provide a hunting guide/dog handler as well as a personal course marshal to help you on the clays course

It's best if you go through the hunters safety program first. That being said you need an adult with you
