I've been a hunter for many years, and I can say without hesitation that this was the most memorable experience I've ever had!! Within minutes of arriving I was in my stand and ready to pin down my first hog. After an hour or so, Larry (owner) comes ripping around the corner in his side- by- side and hollered for me to jump in..... Larry proceeded to navigate through the property like Richard Petty on a paved track, catching up with this beautiful trophy hog. I'm shooting out of the moving side-by-side like Billy the Kid on a saddle, now my adrenaline is really kicking in....... Turned a corner, and there he was!!!! Larry's will trained dogs had grabbed this hog by the ears...... Larry hands me his Rambo knife, and tells me to stick it!!! I'm guessing it was the adrenaline at this point, but without even thinking, I'm on the hog's back getting the job done! What an unbelievable moment!!!! Larry, thanks to you, and your staff, I can truly say this was the most rewarding hunting excursion I've ever been a part of, and I'd be more than happy to come see you again!!!

I was on the Internet searching for a good adoption place for my dog. Barry is a good dog, he just had some behavioral issues. And because we live in the condo my landlord was not happy with nose and berry was damaging the carpet. I came across Larry, he told me that he can train Barry and can keep him. Larry said that he Is doing this all his life and love dogs and he is professional, so we agreed that Barry would stay with him for one month for the price of $500. The day came to drop Barry off, we drove for two hours (each way) to arrive at the destination. When I met with him he said it would be $500 plus an additional $25 a day for the dogs shelter and food. He did not mention the additional $25 a day fee, prior to meeting. An additional $25 a day was too expensive for me, I am single mom with three kids , so I decided to leave my dog there for two weeks instead of a month because Larry said it should be enough to train Berry. I tried to check up on Barry while he was with Larry and asked how he was doing, Larry would reply with short responses such as “He’s fine.” This mildly concerned me. Approximately a week and half in to Barry’s stay, I get a phone call from Larry. Larry states that Barry has cancer because there is blood in his fecal and that he needs to be picked up immediately. This news shocked me. I stopped everything I was doing and headed there to pick up my dog right away. It was an inconvenience that I had to drive two hours each way, unplanned. It was a horror to my eyes when I saw my dog, he looked like he had been starving, he was dirty, and clearly was not taken care of. He was not happy to se us not even sure he recognized us. This was not the same dog I dropped off. I proceed to talk to Larry, while talking to Larry he admits that he does not have a permit and did this simply for “fun”. (I got our conversation on film.)Because Larry would not let us on his ranch as he did before for some reason. He told us to wait by the gate. I took my dog and left. I feed Barry, he eats very swiftly, and in much larger amounts then he usually does. This confirmed my suspicion that he was not well fed. As soon as I got home I bathed him because of his stench and dirtiness, while I bathed him a substantial amount of fur came off. Meaning that my dog was not cleaned or exercised whatsoever. He was most likely left in a cage for the majority of the time. Despite all the signs of him being in improper care, the thing that was the worst of all was that Berry looks like he is being traumatized, not matching that his behavioral issues did not changing at all. But he was not the same happy, exited, energetic dog. He looked and acted as if he went through a traumatic experience. Barry also never showed signs of cancer. When I got him back, there was no blood in his fecal. This whole situation Is unspeakable. Answer : Larry stop lying or I will post the video here of my dog and our conversation. You never want to give us any instructions, you didn't even want to talk, you left our dog and drove off, I was chasing you to ask you more questions about his health. I have video! you are lying about breaking training in two weeks! You are lying about being concern about my dog , because I keep texting and ask questions but you never reply! Do you want me to post it here??? You are lying about exercising my dog, he had so MUCH fur that NOONE even touch him or pet him! And the only reason you refund the last two days because I insist. And it's not that he was not happy to see me, he was numb, depressed, abused looking, but he start howl and bark almost like crying when he saw my son. Our vet, who knows the Berry said that he looks underweight and depressed and he gave me the statement for the court. You keep lying here and I will get angry enough to take you to the court. You don't have license to take care of the dogs. County is not monitoring you! Probably don't even have the license to run your hunting business or serving food . I will look in to it, not to pay you back but for the sake of the other dogs and people.

Can’t say enough GREAT things about the whole experience.... Christy met me to show me camp where I stayed night before hunt, beautifully decorated and clean with coffee maker and fridge... above expectations... I enjoyed a bonfire that night as I saw more stars in the sky I’d ever seen.. after a great night sleep was picked up by Larry to go hunt... and hunt I did!!!! Got a trophy hog so big!! enough to feed a village... Even as a single female out there, there was no short of confidence nor doubt as I felt was out hunting with my pops or family... thank you so very much Christy and Larry... I’ll definitely be back... 🙏🏻👍🏻😎

Larry and his wife Christy are fantastic human beings. Larry taught my dog to catch and set him up to get it right, in addition to teaching me the ins and outs of hog hunting. Highly recommend booking a hunt with them- pricing is reasonable and the experience is unparalleled; you will not be disappointed.
