Just talk to the member services and see what they have for you.
Yes, they'll take that back but you'll need the members card to initiate a refund. They could probably consider your request for store credit /Costco Cash instead of a refund.
Call Costco and ask them.
Only thing Is is it was bought as a gift to me and I'm not a member or have a receipt
