Is there a meat department

Yes! They have an exceptional meat department! The sell different grades of meat. It is the best we have found of all our local stores. Not a well known service, that you can request your meat selection be cut to your specification. Request it earlier in the day, as they clean the meat area later, and its really inconvenient, if not impossible for them to accommodate your request during or after they've cleaned the equipment. They also guarantee their meat, just as with any other Costco item. Lastly, their hamburger meat does NOT contain pink slime. Nor do they use meat glue. HTH
