Just go there and at the main admin lobby tell them you want to visit and show your ID. They will arrange a tour for you but that tour will be restricted to certain areas.
The factory has tours, you have to schedule one. I'm not sure it's for everybody or just for potential owners
The tours are only for tesla car owners. And the timing is Mon to Fri 9 to 5. It has to be scheduled by calling your tesla agent.
