I have fostered a lot of dogs for KCPP, most of them have been seniors and their adoption fee tends to be less. There are also a lot of adoption specials throughout the year too.
Myself, personally when speaking with a volunteer staff member did not tell me "yes" when I asked if they had specials on older dogs? Honestly, the dogs are a good price for the care they have received considering their situation. I wish I could get all of them!! I hope you get a special price for a special dog🤗 All the best...
They do occasionally have senior dog specials, not specifically to senior people, but in general!! My mini poodle I adopted was 9 years old and they had a special for $50. I would just call and ask when their next adoption special is! This was two months ago for me!
