KC Pet Project currently charges a $20 public off fee as outlined in the city ordinance. However, donations are encourage to help them care for the 13,000 animals they support. There are fees for animals who are surrendered to the shelter though.

Yes KCpet project does charge the person who is taking the time and effort to drop off stray who could be someones baby or kiddos birthday gift or just awesome family memebers then the lonely ones get nothing but sitting time behide bars where they wait ...wait .....and wait until its either not enough room or they are adopted. Before they handle situation 😥 These sweet animals can't do it themselves . I believe thats the reason why the other percentage isnt lookkng into it. 20 bucks isnt always easy to come by for some. That's when they walk right back out that door ...who knows what then happens to them then. I WOULD POST THIS (IM HOMELESS AND HUNGRY IF I COULD ID PANHANDLE THIS JUST LIKE SOME HUMANS DO ....LOL. IM FREE TO LOVING ,WILLING. FAMILY. SOMEONE WOULD LOVE MY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE THAT I GIVE BACK ... JUST A CHANCE IT COST Zero down with NO intrest rates. Cheap food I'll live then at least ... Its just my opinion. Hope I helped somehow
