Its been a few years since ive been there.. but im sure there wouldn't be any problems with late morning or early afternoon. Very accommodating place.
Check in is at 3:00 pm but if your room is available, you would probably be given a door key to it when you get there.
Only paperwork I have says check out time 12 noon no check in. We got there at 11 and didnt have any issues.
