Are the Poppy's usually "open" as early as 7am? My understanding is that if it's too cold out, they don't open up. Or do you recommend that we go later in the morning/afternoon? Thank you in advance.

Go early, and on a day without wind. They don't open in strong winds.

If the sun is shining early in the am go early if not go later in the morning.

This time of year they will be open when the sun hits the them. I was there in 35+ mph winds and.the.flowers were open.

Sunrise to sunset. Early morning ( make sure sunny) is better to avoid traffic
