Reservations Are preferable as they sometimes have special dinners and are quite busy. Open table also works most nights.

I have been there few times in weekdays, and had to wait few minutes, so better to reserve beforehand

I would to insure a table. But you could always arrive early and have drinks at bar. Bar tenders are great and it is a nice bar

I would suggest you make a reservation. Especially for Friday or Saturday.
