As a State Historic Park, pets are not allowed on the grounds, with the exception of trained service animals. Pets are also not allowed on trails in any California State Parks unless specifically posted, both for the safety of the pets and the stress that pets cause to the wildlife that we are protecting. If you must bring your pet, you can take turns visiting the museum while someone stays with the animal at the car (never leave a pet unattended in a vehicle, even in cooler weather).
I'm going to agree with Debra, but I imagine if you leash it you can walk it around the walking path. But I'd ask first.
Considering people aren't even allowed to touch the walls in some of the buildings, in gonna go with nope. Get a crate and put the pup in it while you visit.
