What Eric Wolfer said 😁 shops "Back in the day" weren't open past 5pm and closed on weekends. Think how nice it is for the people who work there to have normal business hours.

Practical reasons, people don't go there later...if they could get enough people hoing there later they will be open...
I would really like for them to be open later too. They are open on weekends now both days though so it's better than it used to be.
