Reservations are best, you can sit in the bar which has open seating. Get the "Rest" app for your phone or tablet it's quick and easy to book a reservation here through that or via phone call if you prefer. In the app you can select the outdoor courtyard or main dining area.
It's always a good idea as it's a small restaurant and they staff according to the amount of reservations. You also have a better shot of getting a table outside if you have a reservation.
