I got a little2.8 container of maple sugar for grandson Ben to include in his Hanukkah package..I put riddle clues on the gifts, and want to know approx. how many gallons of sap go into producing this much sugar. Thanks!

It takes about 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.
