While this organization does do a lot of charity, they do rely on people adopting covering at least some of the cost of the care for the animal. By the time you adopt they have been taken to the vet, had any resolvable health issues taken care of, and been fed amd sheltered. The amount you have to pay for a dog depends on the age of the dog: Under 6 months: $450 6 months – 7 years: $300 Over 8 years: $200 I believe puppies require a lot more care and vet visits so it costs more to adopt them.
