I'm sorry to hear what i think you're saying. Please try to calm down, rewrite what you wrote in a more clear, understandable fashion. Best thing to do is contact the store. I'm sure there's something that can be done. Always try going to them first in a calm manner. Again, I'm sorry to hear this... Good luck.
They only take in rescues it probably had an unknown illness or was malnourished granted they shouldn’t of sold it to you without knowing it was in good health first may I ask where you kept the tank ? If it was by a window in any sunny location what so ever he most likely died of heat stoke guinea pigs cannot be in direct** sunlight as they over heat very easy and it’s a very common mistake for first time owners
Some of the things you can do to prevent this from happening to you again is to pay very close attention to the animal's eyes, nose, and behavior. Eyes should be clear and free of crusting, gumming, or tears/fluid. Noses should be free of the same. Behavior should be active, not lethargic, skittish, or aggressive. If you see any of these signs/symptoms, do not buy any of the animals in the enclosure. Find a different store, a reputable, responsible breeder, or check out the local animal shelters.
Wow thats sad. PetSmart has not been know for there pets being sold there. Below par with the exception of the pets on Saturday and Sunday.
