Anyone know if the hrs posted here are correct, if so why's it "close" so early at 5:00pm? In other words is 5pm just the time that the snack bar closes, or the lifegaurd(if there is one?)goes home? Or do they chain off parking lot at 5pm?

The beach is open until dark there are no lifeguards on duty at this time until sometime in July I believe and the snack bar is closed as well the hours 5 p.m. is just for when the beach is officially open
