Yep, every city park is drone friendly. Only county and state parks are restricted. The group that flies out there is Tampa Drones. They have a Facebook page
I just bought my first drone a Xiaomi Mi 4k and received it last week and flew all weekend at a nice soccer in Dunedin and had the place to myself in the early morning and after 4 pm. During the week after work they have league games so it's unavailable. This evening (Monday 9/16/18) I stumbled on Sheffield Park and noticed another flyer with a Phantom 3! He told me that on Sunday mornings there is quite a few people flying! I'm very interested in joining a club so if anyone could fill me in it would be much appreciated!
