I been with Progressive over 2 yr. Every time i renew my policy my premium goes up. I have no ticket or accident but my Premium went fron $230 a month to $480. Every time i ask why they said it the rate goes up in Florida. To me that bunch of Bs. So i cancel. Best thing i ever did. All they do is raised your rate.

You better hope you don't get hit by someone insured with Progressive. They are the worst. They are very good at taking their customer's money but will not pay their customer's at fault claims. A Progressive driver backed into me in a parking lot. My car was standing still. I was holding down my horn. The Progressive driver’s statement to the police was that he didn’t see me and just backed right into me. The police report clearly lays fault on the Progressive driver. Progressive won’t pay. They are only interested in taking your money. They also have terrible customer service. I left the claims representative 4 voicemails over three consecutive days and didn’t get a call back until my Allstate representative called Progressive and complained. Avoid this brand.

My family and I had progressive insurance for years with no issues. Then I fell behind on a payment when I switched banks and everything fell apart. I called to get caught up with the payment and the girl I spoke with assured me that the amount I was paying that day was the full amount to get caught up. Then I even specifically asked if my next payment due would be on June 15 and it would come out automatically like my previous payments all had in the past, on the 15th of every month. She assured me that was the case. Then on June 12th I get an email stating that my policy had cancelled. I called immediately and only got rudeness and even though their poorly trained employee misspoke (the rep even stated so herself) It was still my problem and they weren’t willing to work with me at all. Very unimpressed. I will take my business elsewhere.

Well.. when the bad day comes that you get in an accident and need these guys' assistance, your day will become surprisingly better. What a kind group of people. They're understanding of the stress you're in, very informative with the process, and most of all they stay in touch through the progress. I'm 27 years old and we know how my generation can be judgemental or hard to please... these guys actually seem like they enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend dealing with this establishment over your local garage for this kind of thing. The long time love I've had for my local garage quickly faded when I was told that the paint match for my bumper may not be exact... I quickly went to Progressive and was beyond satisfied. They even patiently took time weeks later to answer questions I had with an unrelated issue from my dealership. Tata for now.
