Hampton isn't living up to their old standards. This is the last stay we will have at a Hampton. Drapes not totally hooked to the rod. I went to see if I could fix them and saw that they were filthy and covered in cobwebs.

We could go down the road to Abingdon. We stayed there once and it was very nice and clean. We are moving to another room but shouldn't have to if people did their jobs ☹️

Dont hold the standards at this Hampton against tge rest..we only stay at the Hamptons or Marriott & this was by far not the best Hampton we have stayed in!! It coukd definitely use a facelift & but as far as the room we had it was clean..but ill have to brag a bit on the hamptons..the best Hampton we habe ever stayed at & we stsy there often..is the Hampton Inn in Jonesville NC between Statesville & Elkin..they are fabulous!!!! I cant say enough good things about them!! Always friendly and courteous, always clean & decorated to the hilltop for every holiday!! Youll enjoy your stay there!!
