Florida State Parks are not tax supported and are funded by entrance/user fees. An entry fee is required, whether you’re parking or using the trails. Like other posters have stated, you can purchase a pass. It’s $60 for an individual pass that just gets you in or $120 for a family pass. This gets you and everyone in the car in to all state parks. There’s a discount if you’re a vet and if you have a service connected disability the pass is free. YOU DON’T GET IN FOR FREE FOR HAVING A DISABLED PLACARD.
Thank you! Just checked their website states $2 fee for pedestrians too! I thought Florida got rid of entrance fees for all state parks?!
There is only a fee to enter of $3 for cars, now if you contact the state parks department you can pay one fee of $52 a year for all state parks in Florida and don't need to worry for a year for a park pass, and veterans either get a free park pass for a year for free when they call the state parks department station or at a discount but I do know they get one or the other. I don't remember the number, but veterans make sure to take advantage of that for your family.
Werner-Boyce Salt Springs is a Florida state park and does charge an admission fee. Fees: $2 for bicycle or pedestrian $3 for vehicle with up to 8 persons
I think there is a fee for walkers too
Only a parking fee which, by the way, if you have a handicap parking plate/pass is waived.
Yes and yes jogging is ok strollers can be a challenge from what i can see on so.e trails
As I recall, there was a parking fee only. No charge to enter the trails. You should have no problem on the trails with a jogging stroller.
