I have patch of St Augustine grass which doesn't grow in the middle of my lawn. I plan to use plugs/squares to replant the area. What steps/products would you recommend to improve the soil before I plant the sod? Thanks

Sod comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contact the store for availability information. Purchase a lawn thickener for St. Augustine grass and it will contain the correct nutrients.

Dig down a few inches and replace your dirt sand with bag of good lowes soil with fertilizer in it. Then place did square on top. Add or remove dirt to get desired height to match existing grass height. Plenty water. It needs good soil under did square. Can just be an inch or two

I used fertilizer 12-6-8 before and works good.
