It is not! The county installed a park official to oversee businesses and vendors operating in the park a few years back. In spite of the fact that, for years, people brought dogs to Ted Sperling park without incident (I used to work as a kayak guide there), the dog ban is now strictly enforced by any park official present. Even if all you want to do is use the launch to take your dogs kayaking, for example, you'll be asked to leave.
Brittany Ted Sperling Nature Park is a Sarasota County Park so it is no dogs allowed however they do allow companion or service dogs I believe we are kayak and Paddleboard Company that has permits to launch customers in the park but the dog policy is Sarasota County we also have the ability to launch you from dog-friendly parks like bird key and Ken Thompson park or our private launch on Longboat Key
Soon we will be launching from Ken Thompson Park and you may bring your dog hopefully by Spring
