Although the job was for my sister, I regret VERY much suggesting Window World of Sarasota. My son had Window World of St Louis and all I can say is they are not equal in any way. Over one year my sister has not been able to have screens on 2 of her windows. I know covid has played a small part , but hearing fro0m the owner might help. The office staff is worthless when they cannot come up with resolutions in over a year. They should not be advertising for more work and try to satisfy past customers.

The installation itself was fantastic. However, they gave me full screens that cannot come out and I asked for half screens that were movable. After nine months of telling me that they were ordering them, they then tell me that the manufacturer does not make them. They could have told me that 9 months ago but clearly they are lying. They also claimed that they called me and left a message. I have only one phone and never received a message from Pam. She lied. The actual windows are fine but I hate lying customer service. Especially since they initially said it would be no problem to get the replacement screens.

Very disappointed. They took over $6000.00 from us as a downpayment in June of last year but they didn't come out to install until October. At that point we had 3 damaged windows which they had to send another company out to evaluate, which took another month. We are still waiting for them to repair the windows. We also had to drive to their offices in Sarasota to get covers for the screw holes in all the windows which were supposed to be covered by them after inspection , never saw them again to do that. We had to do it ourselves. It's now been 8 months and the job is still not finoshef.

We are in Venice, FL. These guys were great to work with! They replaced 13 very old windows with their Hurricane Impact Windows in one day. Very professional team. We've had many large storms since installation and there are no leaks. House is much quieter inside too. Installer was a perfectionist! Owners were awesome! I cannot say one negative thing about working with this company or the quality of the windows or installation. These windows are beautiful and look great! I would highly recommend. The mixed reviews amaze me. There must be more to story. I also had Tim as installer with another gent. They worked quickly and with attention to detail. The windows and sliding door are excellent quality. So glad I found them. Competitors very over priced

After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as they arrive for your installation.

Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed helps determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30-60 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.

Ditto to Michaels answer, two years after install and the windows are leaking. Guess what they told me? The install is only guaranteed for one year. My homeowners insurance company sent a structural engineer out, removed the drywall to discover the windows were to small for the opening. Window World installed their mis-measured windows and slapped a piece of plastic around the exterior with calk to cover the gap...which gave way and allowed water entry. Also, the gap between the window and framing was much larger than code allows.
